Black & white birth images offer and entirely different experience than color images do. They tend to be more dramatic, less distracting, and bring your eye to what matters…the sweat on your forehead, the tear on your cheek that caught the light perfectly. I often find B&W images bringing me to tears or taking my breath away. They’re simply powerful and this is why when editing for my clients, I give them BOTH color and B&W. I used to choose my favorites to edit in B&W, but I’ve realized that favorites are subjective so ultimately, my clients get them all! These B&W images are ones that made my clients feel something…and I feel no different.
